Teaching assistant question. Is it ok here?

Have just accepted my first paid job as a ta after volunteering for last 7 years
I am v excited but the details are vague and I am being impatient.
I will be level 2 band 14 can't find data on the internet about what salary that may offer.
But will I be paid for term time plus 4 weeks or just term time?
Is there a pension scheme in schools?

I can go back and ask more questions but don't want to be relentless in case they change their minds !!!
Any advice would be appreciated.

If it's a state school, the pay is probably your local Council's pay scale so you maybe able to google it. In my school, the salary is an annual Council-wide one ie assumes working 52 weeks, whereas you'll only work 39 (or 38 if you won't be working inset days). So you'll need to divide by 52 and X 39. Then work out how many hours you will be working per week and divide it again! Don't be surprised how little is left

The final figure will be paid in 12 monthly instalments so you still get paid in August!

So I know it will be 30 hours and working some inset days which will be paid as overtime

So if it was £8.30 (ish)

+4weeks holiday pay
But then take off national insurance
And possible pension contributions?
Is that right?

I work 24 hours, 39 weeks on about that rate and 6 hours, 39 weeks on HLTA rate (£12.50 ish p.h. I think), and take home about £800 a month.

At level 2 you might be on about £700 PC. It's really hard to work out.
