It's a massive long shot I know, but I'm a fairly new Welsh teacher and I have to start thinking of a wall display for the corridor outside my room and I haven't a clue where to start.

Looking for help, ideas and inspiration!

as in you are a teacher who happens to be Welsh,

or
as in , you are a teacher who is teaching Welsh as an MFL
or
you are teaching the literature and linguistics of the Welsh language to Welsh speakers ?

Also, what age are the children?
Does the school dictate themes, or "rules" for your displays?

What have you been doing in class ?

You could always get them to translate Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch should get them interested in looking for the individual words. Plus take up a whole board!

Thanks!
I teach KS3&4. My HoD wants inspirational quotes, Welsh in the workplace, stuff like that.

I'm the least arty/creative person I know. Hmm

Dunno... I could lend you my many many rejection letters saying "sorry you don't speak Welsh" as a backdrop... Have you tried approaching the MFL department? I bet they have ideas :)
