I've been offered a new job, subject to a probationary period. As I understand it, I will have continuous service (6years) for employment law purposes. So, if I don't "pass" my probation , what happens?
i.e. am I as easily sackable as someone in their first 2 years of services or do I indeed have continuous service and so due process must be followed.
I'm not really worried, more interested, I know I can do the job, but these things are always subjective and to a certain extend dependant on personalities (and if they need to cut numbers for cost saving)
