How much should I be getting on a 0.8?

In our school, you would get the equivalent of 4/5 of the PPA that a FT teacher gets. Practically, you would get an afternoon (all of our PPA is in the pm) every week for 4 weeks and on the 5th your cover would release someone else (or you) for planned leadership time.
Different schools might organise it differently but you're entitled to 10% of your teaching time as PPA just like anyone else.

Ok, so the one afternoon a week I am getting is reasonable. Thank you.

In my school, it's half an hour PPA for every day you teach.

10% of teaching time, in chunked slots of no less than 1/2 an hour. Assemblies & registration do not count. PPA doesn't have to be weekly, the 10% can be given over 2 weeks, for smoother organisation.
