Teachers - help prepare me for getting back into the classroom!

Right, lovely MN teacher folk, I need your help and advice. I'm about to embark on my level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification. I've got a placement in a lovely small school, thanks to a relative working there.

I've not been in a classroom since my own school days (left secondary nearly 9 years ago) and I genuinely don't know what to expect!

I'm also in the weird position where my college allowed me to progress to level 3 after doing level 2 Early Years Education, so I'm not entirely sure what I should expect to be doing when I get into school. I'll be working with Y2 up until Christmas, then Y3/4 after that.

First college class is tomorrow night, so hoping for more insight then, and will be in school as soon as my DBS comes through, but could just use some reassurance, kind words, experiences etc to help guide me - all the stuff I've found online is about actual paid TA's and their job description, I don't expect to be sent off with a group while I'm training so it didn't help much.
