Does anyone know what the advantages are to subscribing to Hamilton Trust? It seems to me that you can get it all via Google, without subscribing?

I don't know how much is available via Google - I suppose that depends on people putting the resources from HT on other websites.
They have a huge range of plans and resources covering most areas.

I used to pay for membership but now my school pays for the whole school. If the school stopped paying, I would go back to paying for it myself.
HT is a charity which provides a useful service. Call me old fashioned but I think that if I use a service, I should pay for it.

I'm not sure exactly how much is available online - I certainly felt the need to take out a subscription when I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for although the samples are quite good and there's always something on Tes. Mind you, with the new curriculum, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the only planning and resources available for free aren't the latest.

I don't begrudge the money as they are a charity and I think they do great things.

That's useful to know. I hadn't realised it was a charity. Thanks.

Meh I dont rate the plans to be honest. I've used stuff from their topic plans but found the English and maths dire!
What are you after? Maybe someone can suggest somewhere else...
