Age related descriptors

I think I'm going mad!

I work in a support service for education, and I want to find one useful doc that outlines what the age related descriptions are for maths, English and acience. I have only found a draft doc and it only bands by key stage/not age. I've been looking on the dfe website and googling like made, but no luck.

I'm feeling like I'm being sent On a wild goose chase! It's all very well saying at/exceeding/towards or mastering age expected, but what IS age expected!?! Arrrgh!

Can anyone help me please?

Watching with interest. I think therein lies the problem. It doesn't exist!

It doesn't exist! We made our own based on the nc. Obv not ideal as the English isn't done by year group so we've had to split it. We're on our second version already! Wink

We had to trawl through companies offering assessment programmes. Think we are using Herts for Learning.
It is all to make schools have to buy into schemes = money making.
Ours is good but I am unsure what being told your child/the child themselves being told they are below is going to do.
