What'd be on your budget wish list?

I've been handed my budget sheet for next year.

There's a box on it for wishy things. My mind has gone blank.

What would you have if budget were no object? (Or less of one)!

A class set of ipads.

What do you teach?

Without knowing the age group or subject or what you got last year it is difficult to make any sensible suggestions. I, personally would go for getting the band saws rewired in and a laser cutter that cuts deeper than 3mm. But I guess that wouldn't help much

A smart board. GDCs. Laptop.

Is this for funding by the PTA or school budget? If it's going to the PTA I suggest something which would be of benefit to a large number of students.

Paper

Paper (lined and plain), pens, pencils, rulers, rubbers, green pens for self assessment, red pens for feedback. A couple of pencil sharpness, some more red colouring pencils - how come all the reds always disappear?

I know these should be basics but I won't get enough.

A Folen specials Christianity book. About £50.

Depends on what you teach. Mine would be iPads, new tents/camping equipment, assault course revamp ours fell apart and actual poster making materials .

But then I'm dreaming because I asked for whiteboard markers and got told we have no money .

Make sure you quantify and include the basic running stuff, not just 'wish list'
