I'm starting a primary PGCE this September, and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for things to read before it. Thanks!

Use twitter, it's free, up to date and full of interesting links to blogs. Follow teacher toolkit as a starting point and look to see who is linked to them. Better than books; visit lots of schools, cherry pick ideas you like. Read Guardian Education online it's brilliant. Good luck it's all you'll do for a year but it flies by and then you get your own class!
