I believe the pay is similar to LEA schools for which the info is out there on management pay. Unless it's one of these out of the ordinary super schools.

Are we talking primary or secondary? How many children?
With that info I could give you a rough idea of what a LEA head would be on if that's any use?

Look carefully through the financial statements on their website. They have to post the salary band of all their higher paid staff (over 60k or so) it doesn't have to name the individual person receiving the salary, but it's not hard to figure out.

Newbieman, many academy heads are on similar salaries to their LEA counterparts but some have taken the opportunity to dramatically increase their salaries.

How much was it?

Ours gets about £110k. LEA with about 1150 students.

Top of secondary range is 102,000 - but I know several heads on considerably more than that.
