Modular PGCE at Canterbury

I have a place on a full time PGCE at a London uni for September, however it's now looking as if this isn't going to be possible for me to do due to childcare issues. I have seen that Canterbury Uni do a Modular PGCE, a lot of which is distance learning. Just wondered if anyone had done this or anything similar and how compatible you found it with having DC, it looks almost too good to be true !

I would ask on the TES website forums, lots of student teachers, when I did my PGCE at Canterbury lots of us were on that forum.
