Am I mad to go for this job?

New job- PROS: salary the same as I have now, the classes are small, senior age of pupils ( intellectual work), possibility to get my kids there for staff bursary, I would shape the curriculum ( decision making). CONS: on top of my teaching I would have to do 5 hours boarding duty per fortnight, plus 1 morning Saturday once a month activities, plus 3 Sundays a year - days out with students. Also, this job would take me 20 min more to drive each way...
Am I mad to go for it?

That all sounds standard for working in a private school. Are you moving from state? I found there was a big difference, for the better, in the way staff are treated in private.
