Can you leave it out and sign and date it with yesterday's date, just until you know and then fess up if you need to?

I'd leave it out and fess up if you needed to.

I have an ex- friend who was caught with a gram of coke, formally cautioned, and it didn't affect his getting a job as a teacher. Never mentioned.

I know that driving offences don't count. I was caught speeding and it never showed up.
