Not really sure what I'm asking but my latest obs feedback was that the lesson needs to be more pacey and my questioning needs to challenge them more, in literacy. I thought my lesson was great but i only got good/RI Hmm

How do you challenge your ch. in literacy through questioning and how long do you plan the intro before they get onto the independent activity? (How long is a piece of string..)!

Which year group? I found an old Teachers' TV video where two Year 2 or 3 (I think) teachers teach Literacy with the same learning objective and they do peer observations.

One of the teachers was very experienced while the other had just finished NQT year. It was really interesting to see how differently they approached the lesson and how the experienced teacher made her lesson very engaging and productive. Can't remember where I found it but if you google 'Bailey peer observations literacy' it should turn up.
