I got banned last time I asked this (I never found out why) so I'll try and ask while respecting the guidelines this time!

I teach English in France and have some lovely pupils who are desperate for English speaking penpals. Is there anyone who would be interested in setting up a letter exchange with me (getting the kids to write letters then sending them in one big enveloppe via the school)?

Register on British Council Connecting Classrooms- lots of teachers looking for this style of exchanges there.

Good luck.

Thank you, I shall go and have a look right away!

I'd be interested LaChatte, what age do you teach?

LaChatte · 04/03/2015 15:30

I teach in collège, so ages 11 to 15 (this year I'm teaching 5ème and 4ème), I am hoping to do it on a volontary basis, I already have two girls in 3ème (14 yr olds) who are desperate for a pen friend (they come to my English club after school).

I teach similar ages. I'll pm you in a bit when the kids are in bed...
