What is going on?!

When will someone realise what a completely counter-productive waste of money Ofsted is!?

So basically in the 23 years they have been 'serving' the public (is that the right number of years??) they have consistently been rated as 'Requiring Improvements' because every friggin' year they change the inspection regime, switch the goalposts thus making it difficult for schools to know exactly what they are supposed to be doing in order to jump through these hoops they put in front of us.
If that was a school, ,it would have been closed repeatedly, reopened under a new name and then turned into an academy. Apparently relationships between OFSTED and DFEs (or whatever they are called these days!) are at an all time low. The public (parents) are beginning to 'see the light' and realise what a bunch of knobbers they are - people in position of power actually can't do the job they oversee, rule over and make decisions sbout effectively. Fact.

Well said! Knobbers is an excellent description!

What if the first Ofsted tells you you're brilliant but the second one says you're RI?! What will they do then? Best of three maybe?!

If they're crap-they should be put on capability and sacked. Like SMT are doing to teachers across the country.
