Did your school continue to pay for vouchers when you were down to just your smp?
I've heard from many non teachers that this happens. But seems too good to be true ...

Mine did. I saved nearly £1000 and used it when I went back to work!

It's considered to be a grey area with no test case to set precedent, so most do as it would cost less than the potential pay out if not paying was confirmed to be discriminatory.

Thank you! My smp starts this month and I'm wondering whether to take older son out of nursery until I go back to work

You can of course still take him out and save up the vouchers if you choose.
