Primary MFL teachers help please

I am rewriting my schemes of work and have of course looked up new programmes of study which are reassuringly vague. The last time I wrote a scheme of work the framework was all important and my sow was littered with letters and numbers to reference various parts of the framework. Is the framework still required? Or can my new scheme of work leave all these references out?

I am a secondary mfl HoD, but my school is 3-18 so I am also responsible for KS2. We have just bought Rigolo from OUP, which seems tailored to the new mfl framework, although I am not currently teaching ks2 myself.

I know what you mean about letters and numbers. We no longer have them on our long/medium/short term plans anywhere at all. Not for any subjects.
