day off guilt?

Felt rather odd yesterday and at 6pm started throwing up. Hoped I'd be better by the morning but no luck, curled up on the sofa watching day time tv, writing curriculum reports and consumed by teacher guilt!

I'm exactly the same when off sick can't stop feeling as though I'm letting down the class. But if you're ill it's beyond your control And you need to rest without worrying.

Even if you were better by the morning you have been sick and therefore should stay away for a couple of days. We tend to bend the rules slightly as staff, but at the very least 24 hrs from the last episode.

I'm currently at home ill too, not going back until Wednesday (last day of term!)

If you want guilt, how about me being in bed with pneumonia last week when who should arrive but Ofsted? Blush

Thanks! I know its ridiculous! Off today as well although feeling a bit better. Lilypotter- a visit from OFSTED is awful enough when you're there- must be worse to be stuck in bed worrying about it!
Managed to do some planning and a bit of admin yesterday so feeling a bit less guilty- I never get ill but a new job+ new nursery for DS = catching every germ going!
