I have two students - one in Year 5 and one in Year 6 who are working at P7/P8 in literacy and I've been asked to run an intervention group for them. They already have a 30 minute daily session where they follow a sight word programme set up for them by an outside agency. I have been asked to create a practical literacy programme for them and I have no idea what to do! Obviously I have some ideas but I would like some sort of programme to follow which I could use as a base. I've had a look at ASDAN but it's not exactly what I need.
Does anyone have any advice for me?
