Case meeting: what happens?

I have been off work with stress for 6 weeks almost. I have a case meeting on Thursday (am assuming just with the head teacher) at a neutral location.

Never been to a case meeting so I don't know what to expect.

Will there be other people in attendance?
Do I need a chaperone for moral support or union representation (union involvement with me and other members of staff is very high in my school for reasons connected to my stress).

Please don't think I don't want to go back to work; I really do but my confidence, nerves and emotional state of mind is still quite fragile and feel that between now and then, I will buckle under the stress and pressure.

Any advice much appreciated!
