Primary school teacher, on 70%, was working 3 full days, plus a morning, but the lunch hour has been moved, so the afternoon session is now only 1.25 hours. Would you expect in increase in pay or does this still count as 3.5 days?

I would expect extra. Speak to your union.

Yes, I would. I do 3.5 days in a secondary school so my timetable is arranged differently to primary, but we have four periods before lunch and two after. On my half day I teach 1-3 and then leave - if I taught until lunch it would be two-thirds of a day, rather than a half.

Well, that was easy and a better than expected outcome. They've increased to 80%
