What do you wear, KS1 teachers?!

I've been teaching a long time, but am moving from a school which was pretty laid back (clumpy boots and denim were fine, for example) to a school where everything looks a lot smarter!

I have lots of boots-tan, black and purple (maybe won't wear those ones!), skirts and dresses-Fat Face/White Stuff type-so funky but still relatively ok and some nice tops. I've always worn the tops with fairly skinny black trousers and brown/tan mid-calf boots but I have a feeling my trousers might be a bit tight and a bit jeggingy!

Can I ask what sort of things you wear?

If you worked at ds's school you'd wear white shirt dresses with no bra, skirts which skim your arse and stiletto heels and playsuits....

How funny - I was just coming on to start a similar thread.

Not ks1 but primary - wondered what everyone's found in the shops to suit next autumn term because we all know once term starts there'll be no time for shopping!

Also had a v drastic (in a good way) haircut and now feel I need a bit of a funkier look to match my new 'do. Usually I'm in wrap dresses with boots or skinny black trews with floatyish tops...

usually black/ grey smart trousers and tunics/ blousers/ stretchy tops. Am year 1 and can often be covered in glue/ paint etc so tend to stick to supermarket type stuff or sale stuff. shoes had some lovely clumpy boots last year but also flat black ones or flat ankle boots.

I teach ppa covering reception through to year 6.. Find it quite hard in the summer but autumn winter would be
Jumper dresses with leggings & boots
Tunic style tops
Wrap dresses ( with a vest or long sleeved top underneath) with thick tights.
I don't really wear trousers much unless it's 3/4 length linen ones in the summer. Mainly leggings or tights.
Also like the h&m basics range of legging material skirt type things that cover the bum area over leggings.. Does that make sense?!
My main criteria is that my boobs don't fall out when I lean over to explain something and that I can bend over without showing anything!!

Tunics/short dresses with leggings, Docs or other boots. Pretty lax dress code at my place - as long as your tits and arse don't hang out. No blue denim but black jeans are OK. Like girlsyearapart, have to make sure that no-one gets an eyeful of cleavage when I lean over.

I do primary supply and I have a basic uniform.. black or grey trousers. Flowery and loose tops which are long as when I reach up you don't see my fleshy belly. Often wear a dark vest underneath too. No long skirts as I kept getting stuck under the chair legs!!
