KS2 Maths Units?

Hello, I'm a bit confused and seeking clarification please.

I have the 7 titles such as Calculating, Understanding and using number facts, etc.
Then I have the sub titles for each of these titles.
After downloading and printing I found some more resources relating to Units A-E, there was an A2 Mental Calculations for eg.
I have no idea what these units are and what they contain.
Can anybody explain or point in the right direction please?

Two very experienced maths coordinators abandoned the medium term plans they were writing for their schools when I showed them this link. I got very excited when I looked at a the documents attached!

Thank you so much, this is terrific.
Even as a PC qual teacher I can see the advantages of these plans, and the vocablary document is amaing.
I really just wanted to ensure i was covering everything as I find Maths and English difficult to plan for. Everything else just seems to be straight forward.
