How much can the school cut part time teaching hours? Does anybody have information on this?

It depends if you have a fixed hours or variable hours contract. My head recently tried to cut my hours. I contacted my union. I then asked for a copy of my contract so I could consult my union. Suddenly I was back up to my current hours. Smile

what does your contract say?

However, I should add that I have been moved to Reception after being a Y5 or Y6 teacher for the past 15 odd years... I am wondering if she would like me to leave Hmm

I heard something that the school has the right to reduce timetable by 10%?
