NC....... I know how bloody hard it is to strike a balance between teaching and family life. I am now at a point in my life where my kids are older and I am not completely strung out at the end of each day. With this in mind I would love to share free resources (GCSE/A level/key stage 3 geography) from the huge number that I have to any parents who have little ones and who are stung for time. Just PM me. I am not mad....just want to help out.

Hoping that I'm allowed to do this.... Hmm

Great idea, Wholenew Grin - I'll offer the same for English - KS3, 4 and 5. Just PM me for power points, SOW etc.

This is one of the nicest threads ever! Grin

HexBramble · 17/06/2014 21:58

OP what a lovely, lovely thread.
I teach a minority language and there are hardly any resources out there. I would LOVE to have similar help - juggling everything is tough without all the prep.

I always pay it forwards too.

You are lovely!

sashh · 18/06/2014 06:55

Can I recommend TES?

There is a section for uploading resources.

TheLateMrsLizCromwell · 19/06/2014 18:13

Agree about TES. Resources there were a lifeline for me when I needed them and so have uploaded resources I have created. Best way to share.

phlebasconsidered · 19/06/2014 18:54

I do love TES and the Guardian website, but there's a real gap for specialist. I have a ton of resources for French Revolution / Napoleonic Europe AS/A2, and loads for Liberal reforms, Build up to war and so on. TES isn't really specific.

If there IS anyone else daft enough to teach French Rev / Napoleon at AS/A2, they are welcome to my CD of resources. I used schoolhistory a lot to find stuff, but even then, at that level, there isn't a lot of sharing. So few schools do a topic that isn't Mainstream.

I've also got LOTS of Year 4 and 5 stuff, plust lots of learning to teach year 4 and 5 stuff that might be helpful to people.

BackforGood · 19/06/2014 19:03

What a lovely offer shame none of my dc are taking Geog.. Smile

Wholenewsituation · 19/06/2014 21:22

The TES is great but can take some time to wade through everything.

Phineyj · 21/06/2014 09:31

I have heaps of KS5 Economics resources if anyone wants to borrow! There is probably some crossover with Geog e.g. Development.

roaringwater · 01/07/2014 19:26

phlebasconsidered - I'm an NQT in Year 5, I would love any resources you might have!

Justtoobad · 02/07/2014 19:52

I have lots of ks3 history and GCSE Germany lessons, and reports (reports coming out my ears) for all year groups, plus ucas references, subject history, plus as tutor.
