Apps for Reception class

Hey, can anyone recommend some good apps for use in a Reception class that are suitable for i-Pads? We have some letter/number tracing ones, but no really good phonic or number ones. Any recommendations for the other areas would be welcome too. TIA

There are some fantastic apps from Busy Things (their website is great too - our school is subscribed to it).

Reading Eggs is quite nice.

Hungry Letters is good too.

Isle of Tune is great for music but might be a bit tricky for some YR children.

Disclaimer: I teach Y6 but DD starts Reception in September and she loves all the above apps.

Thanks very much Adora! They all sound good & no better recommendation than from a 4 year old:) Will let my nearly 4 year old check them out too.

Twinkl do a phonics one - my children love it.
Busy Things are a definite favourite - I love playing them!!!!!
Bee Bots apps are good for direction and instruction.
Scribble Press and Scribble My Story are great for creating books.
Number Quiz is really good for writing numbers 0-20, complete with fireworks at the end!
YouTube is a good place to try demo apps.

DD uses Hairy Letters a lot, she loves it.
