Anybody working in indy school ...have you negotiated pay before accepting the job

Just wonder what would be the tactics to negotiate... Letter or meeting? My negotiating reason is the difference between what I earn now without special responsibilities and that job has responsibilities and not much higher what I earn now....

Did you apply for the job knowing what the pay and responsibilities were?

Is your current school indy?

Do the perks of the potential job outweigh the loss of earnings you could find in another school?
