Does anyone use an iPad for work? If so, what do you use it for?

Hello, I work at Hove Park School and all staff plus all students (Y7-Y13) have ipads. We use it for everything apart from registration - invaluable. Research, lesson delivery, assessment, progress monitoring, mirror kids work on apple TV, make videos, books, send links, Skype, communicating and much more!

Blimey, that sounds expensive! Also sounds fantastic though.

Why don't you use emerge for registration Jemina? We are a totally iPad school too, quite a few round here.

I have a reflector program on my computer that runs the projector. This means I can use the iPad camera as a portable visualiser. I "hover" over kids work which is then projected onto the board for general hilarity/useful peer feedback :-)
