So, amidst all the inset doom and rubbish sleep before back to work gloom I thought I might start a lighthearted chat about what you do to ease yourself back to work the day before. Mainly because my husband pointed out certain routines that I had which I'd never realised!
Firstly I cook a big meal the day before. Normally a Sunday Roast AND pudding for a Monday start or a Curry and all the trimmings for a Tuesday start (no one wants to get that close on the first day after all).
I always end my day with a long hot bath and Harry Potter too - mindless escapism I suppose :).
Anyone got some nice ideas for me to try for the next half term - if only to keep my husband on his toes?!
