Couldn't control the classes or negotiate the politics. Feel like a failure and not sure what to do.
I'm thinking of a claim for constructive dismissal as I feel bullied out. I only got satisfactory on my lesson obs. So sad for dd and I as I was trying to build her a future.

Well done on making a decision and being pro active and getting yourself out of what, for you, was a toxic environment. A lot of people don't have the strength to move on as you have. I wish you all the best.

You could try posting in TES workplace dilemnas there is a poster there (bush pruner) who successfully took her former school to tribunal

Well done for getting out. Better things are round the corner for you. You could get a non education jib. Or work in a school in a non classroom facing role. Your DD will be happier with a less stressed mother so you are doing the right thing for her too.

It was a beautiful private school too. I just think my face didn't fit.
