as a teacher - is it better ipad or android tablet/ nexus ?

I will use it for forums, emails, calendar, tasks, reminders,
apps for DC ( reading eggs etc) for evening activities

I've got a nexus 7 and love it. I never use it for anything related to teaching though.

Reading Eggs/ Mathseeds is not great on it because the screen is too small, DS does those oh DH's ipad.

In our family we have 2 different android tablets and an Ipad. I also have a school ipad. I find that the ipad is much better for teaching apps as it has a bigger screen. I also find its easier to use and there is a better choice of apps as well.
