HELP - who do I address job application to. Deadline midday

I have written an application for a secondary post.

All the forms are online. As they are these days.

The info document gives the headmasters PA as a point of contact for more info.

Within the application form it says "this form should be addressed to the person specified on the job description". There is no person specified.

On the bottom of the form there is the statement that "this form should be returned in the envelope provided". There is no envelope. I've downloaded everything online. It does also say to complete in black ink but I have typed (it has the 'form' type options boxes where you preselect stuff).

Panicking.

I'm planning to email to the headmasters PA as that is the email contact given for further info. But who do I address my covering letter to? The Head?

I would address it to the head. Or 'members of the selection committee'.

I would call the school PA and ask who to address it to.

I feel it is a bit late in the day to call the school. Deadline is only 2hrs away.

I'd definitely address the letter to the head, but send it to the PA. They are normally really organised and will know exactly what to so with it! Also, you could include a quick email to the PA, explaining that there was no person specified, and could he/she make sure it went to the right person. That's what I'd do. Good luck!
