A level teaching dilemma

I share an A level group with another teacher. I have today found out that she hasn't even covered half of her part of the syllabus, and there are only about ten weeks of teaching left. I spoke to her and she said it would all be fine, but I am so worried for the students. They asked me about it today and were so trusting that the teacher knew what she was doing, which made me feel even worse. Is there anything I could or should do? Should I speak to the HoD?

Yes speak to hod. But what part is she supposed to be teaching. A lot of practitioners work and techniques can be introduced without the students really knowing what is happening.
