Internal promotion HoD interviews

I am applying for the HoD role at my current school. It has been advertised internally and it looks like it will be me and one other who apply.

I am trying to anticiapte possible questions and wondered if I am forgetting anything obvious. I know they will ask about maintaining/improving results, overall plans for the dept, making the transition from team-member to leading it and promoting good behaviour in the dept. Is there anything else that would be 'standard' in this type of situation?

Also, the current HoD is retiring. In these circumstances, would it be usual for him to be on the interview panel? I know I will find out soon enough, but I just want to know what is usual.

Pupil premium & intervention are almost certain to be mentioned!

Usual for a HOD role would be line manager, Head, governor.

I was an internal candidate, but position advertised externally, and I was the only internal.

I was asked how I would manage underperformance in staff.

How would you move a teacher from good to outstanding?

How do you ensure you are confident in the typicality of teaching/planning/feedback?

How would you spend your dept budget?
