Perfomance Management - should I worry?

I haven't had it yet. Everyone else has, including job share partner - but mine keeps being cancelled at short notice. School has lots of issues. I keep being promised one ...
It will be my first (NQT last year). Should I be worried?

You were an NQT last year? Your PM meeting will just be to set targets then I would think.

Thanks. There are definitely more pressing things going on, I can see that. I just hope they don't end up giving me weeks to achieve them in!

You haven't done anything wrong, so nothing to worry about. But yes, I'd push for it. You're at a vital stage in your career and will still need a bit more support than other teachers, which the PM can help provide.
