Hi I've just started work as a TA on courses (level 1) for unemployed adults. It's a new role for the dept.
I've been asked what information I want from tutors regarding levels of support students will need/I can provide. However, the college do not get to choose the students attending the courses, nor are they given prior attainment levels, whether computer literate, information about learning difficulties, previous experience etc.
My previous experience has been in an area where we had the ability to interview candidates prior to them starting the course. So I'm a bit stuck on answering the question.
I'd be grateful for any ideas.
