I know in an interview I'm going to they are going to ask about safe guarding. I've been out the loop for a few years I know safe guarding is a more in depth policy than basic children protection and I've been reading the policy on the gov website.

Does this take over from Every Child Matters?

Promoting the welfare of children- what exactly are they asking?

It is more than child protection (although that is still paramount). Its about e-safety, building security, safer recruitment procedures etc
