I have just started as a one on one learning support assistant, I was just wondering if I should join a union?

First time working in a school so I do not have a clue.

Yes, I would to be on the safe side, their fees are on a sliding scale based on your salary.

I'm honestly not sure if there is much of a difference between the other unions as there is amongst the teaching unions. My ignorance there though.

I would ask around your new place of work and see which has the stronger presence.
