I am about to leave my current job and start a move towards becoming a secondary school maths teacher. I am going to do 12 months as a maths TA before applying for my PGCE.
I am hoping to collect a few maths toys/games/puzzles etc and wonder whether someone can recommend the best for children aged 8 - 16 and where I can get them free(?!!) or very cheaply
Many thanks

Charity shops, car boots and eBay.

Tarquin do everything you might possibly need, although it's not cheap

Best advice is to make personal copies of whatever resources you can get your hands on.

Oh, and if you buy a laminator and pouches (not cheap) things will last much longer.

Pouches from supermarkets or wilkinsons
