Went to see this at our local theatre with my mother last night. During one if the discussions between the students - she said 'it isn't really like that is it?' certainly some of my students do remind me of some of the characters in the play - just wondered if anyone had any thoughts on how 'accurate' Bennett was in his teenage characters - I think he was spot on.

It's a brilliant observational piece. I love The History Boys!

I teach primary, so I don't know, but I love the film! I watch it at least once a year during the summer and sob merrily every time.

My favourite line is something like "the problem with History is it's one fucking thing after another." I have been known to paraphrase that line in RL.
