Did I do the right thing?

In the staff room today,2 people were having a loud conversation about the " problem" with various ethnic groups of people, basically being racist.

I was concerned about this, and reported it to the Deputy Head. I am now worried about the repercussions, even though I believe I did the right thing.

You did the right thing. Well done for having the balls to not stay silent :-)

I find it hard to believe some of the conversations that go on in our staff room, not outright racist but very "Daily Mail".
