Sad? Spitting fury because he was looking at future king and POW, who didn't fly there by private jet.

Why can't he bring his children places? I don't understand

I completely disagree with everything you have said here. There is so much wrong with this statement I wouldn't know where to begin.

Edited

The only thing MM and Emma have in common is mixed race heritage, and yet people always compare them. I don't think that's a controversial statement..?
Emma isn't married to royalty, isn't American, wasn't an actress, didn't have a televised wedding. She has her own channel, like many others, yet people compare MM to her, not the many others.
MM isn't even "the heiress" like Emma.

Just catching up on the last thread. This was in the People article about Harry. Are they now trolling him? The favourite mouthpiece? Has it had enough?

“Just two days after his latest New York sighting, Harry was back in London on Nov. 4, delivering a keynote speech on responsible travel at the Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards, held in the historic Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich.”

It was the “just two days” that made me snigger.

HaM have painted themselves into a corner so their children cannot do much in the way of normal childhood experiences now.

As far as football games go, the children are pretty much hostage to "privacy" until Meghan decides she wants the big payday of the children's faces being sold to the highest bidder.

They can bring their children places if they want. They don't because, call me cynical but, a) they are holding out for a big reveal/payday and b) they don't enjoy being with their kids. It can be hard work.

Any photos I have seen and even with the back of head shots, it's so cold and performative. Looks like they have absolutely no relationship with them at all

This photo is very odd. My toddlers had these giant footballs. Archie is too old for this. Photo is very obviously staged

Various Xers reporting that H is SAD because of seeing W&G at the football match earlier in the week (I think with a hefty dose of jealousy). He wants to do that with Archie apparently (I particularly liked one comment that A wouldn't enjoy it much because he'd have to sit facing backwards).

Yes it is sad. In a different world it would have been lovely to see Diana's boys taking THEIR boys to sporting events together. But the fact that it's not possible is 100% on HaM, so please stop with the self-indulgent, performative nonsense of utterly failing to acknowledge what you have done.

Omg that comment about Archie having to sit backwards made me laugh out loud!

Starryfifty · Today 11:20

He's vile. Why shouldn't his brother and nephew watch a game without this idiot commenting?? If he must comment, why can't he say how he loves to see them out together, enjoying themselves?

MM isn't even "the heiress" like Emma.

The main reason I've seen them compared is because they are both women who now have titles through marriage and both had recent cooking shows. I don't know of any other duchess/marchioness with a cooking show to comapre to?
I disagree with you that it's racist to compare them as two mixed race women if it's relevant. If someone made a lot of money from saying that they had been mistreated, bullied and defamed due to being red haired, and then another person in a similar industry or situation who also has red hair, was compared because they seem to have got on fine and haven't made their whole life about the prejudice against red haired people. What's the issue? Seems a bit of a reach to go hunting about for racism.

I don't like what you had to say about class. I do agree with you that MM background has not had as many advantages as Emma's. But it doesn't excuse what she has made of her life and Emma's background doesn't invalidate her success and very different attitude.
I think if Meghan were of this 'really rough council estate girl' background you mentioned then people would make a lot more allowances.

It's only people on X saying it, which means absolutely nothing. Harry didn't comment at all!

He does have so much pent up anger. Chip on his shoulder, entitled. The worst combination. It shows.

No we have jelly, jam, and spread. Meghan's stuff is actually classified as spread. This explains all:

I think the more we hear about her family background the more we can say that she really did have quite a tough upbringing - even with a paid for education.

Thomas Markle Jr is apparently now a person of interest for the Filipino police (why exactly hasn't been stated). I don't recall seeing anywhere that Thomas Markle Sr has been named a person of interest or suspect by the Filipino police.

From what I understand, her father was pretty good to her when she was growing up and living or spending a lot of time with him. I'm not sure how she had a tough upbringing. Sure, her parents divorced, but she seems to have been very much cared for.

Samantha (formerly Yvonne) and Tom Markle are much older than Meghan and they have a different mother. Things may have been tougher for them, but a lot of that would have stemmed from their mother. I think they even lived with Doria and Thomas and a very young Meghan for a while. In their young adult years, Tom was supposedly a dopehead and Samantha was getting to grips with having MS.

Well, it's a photo, so it's obviously a bit staged, as all photos are. Those giant inflatable footballs are marketed to teenagers and adults. This one is described as "Inflatable Beach Ball For Adults and Teenagers".

When are those poor children going to get to enjoy the sorts of events and activities other children do?
A trip to a horse show, football or some other sport, museum or art gallery, pantomime, cinema, Church, village shop to buy some sweets, pub lunch. Do they get to do any of these things? Even without press printing photos I can’t imagine it wouldn’t be commented on if they did so one can only conclude they don’t.
William and Harry got to do most of those things, Diana would take them into Tetbury to buy sweets, go to the cinema in Kensington followed by MacDonalds.
The Wales children get to do most of those things in a carefully planned way.
It’s ridiculous, they are practically under house arrest!

As pp said, I look forward to Archie - and Lily - DH ding freedom. And writing their books.

TheTenantofGriftersGrange · Today 12:12

*finding freedom not DH ding…🤦‍♀️

readbutdonotpostoften · Today 12:18

There is a part of me which really hopes the children do do normal children things and are taken out by their nanny, and act/look like any normal children, so blend in and do not attract attention.

The Wales children do exactly that, and also are out with their Middleton grandparents, plenty of people have seen them, especially in Norfolk and just leave them alone. There is very discrete security but that is it. I presume they also visit their friends homes and play in team sports. It should be no different for the Sussex children.

I also worry about the dogs being left behind in the US, think they is 2 now - the first couldn't come as it was a breed banned in the UK I believe, but on this visit to the UK, only the Labrador and travelled.

Thanks @jeffgoldblum for the new thread as always!

I hope so too, @readbutdonotpostoften, and one solitary advantage of their faces having been hidden is that paps wouldn't know who they were anyway

Tack on the point that they may not know the nanny either and it adds up to a high degree of anonymity which would surely help with the security
