Exactly. A woman who married for love, but took on Longleat. Had racist in laws, but rose above it.
She's helped to make Longleat a successful business and preserved the heritage.
She's also a great cook!

It seems everything she has chosen to focus on has been positive, purposeful and satisfying. She hasn't chosen a victim narrative, too busy achieving and enjoying life.

The complete opposite approach to MM. A hollow vessel in comparison.

What always strikes me about Emma is how genuine and joyful she looks when she smiles. So natural.
Meghan is so artificial in comparison, always awkwardly acting.

It's not been easy. She had a serious health scare when she was pregnant as well, but no moaning and feeling sorry for herself.
All the staff call her "Enma". She doesn't insist on her title.

SiegfriedSassoon · Today 10:03

In fact Meghan's smile always reminds me of the one they point out when analysing criminals. The 'dupers delight' smile. She was doing it all throughout her wedding.

Starryfifty · Today 10:04

Meg doesn't smile. It's a gurning grimace

Agree with everything in these posts.

I could forego the clothes, jewels, etc - I’d be happy with just seeing those tiger cubs every single day, I’d get nothing else done!

I feel like Harry does that as well now, he did used to have a nice smile that seemed genuine. Now he seems to just bare his teeth in a strange way or give a very tight closed lips smile that looks angry.

Agree re: kneading dough with rings on, I'd remove them as much to keep dough out of my diamonds as for hygiene. But otherwise it's a sweet video.
I also checked out the price of her jam - Strawberry jam, 350g £6.95
Highgrove Strawberry jam - 340g - £7.95
Other product prices are competitive within the market (ie not cheap but comparable stately home gift shop type prices and affordable). Unlike the ridiculous prices for As ever stuff.

I agree but more and more I have come to realise that, apart from her own character and personality, M’s background and upbringing put her at a real disadvantage. ET is mixed race but she’s well educated and she grew up mixing in those circles.

It probably helps that Emma Thynn's father is a billionaire in his own right, so she didn't grow up in anything like the same environment as M.

I do wish she'd stop doing the "whole leg poking out of glamorous dress" thing whenever she's on the red carpet, but other than that she is glorious.

Yes and smile never reaches his eyes. He seems to be so full of hatred

MitohMit · Today 10:18

What little I know of ET, I admire.

Shes such a contrast to MM in many ways, as some have pointed out… with the exception maybe of baking with jewelry - not best practice shall we say!!

I won’t hold it against ET that she’s a cream-first gal, as that’s a minor mistake that hurts nobody. Plus, you must admit her way looks better as the jam sits there blobily like sparkling gemstones!

The prices of Megan's wares reflect her grandiosity and arrogance. There is no logical way of rationalising what she is charging and so we can only assume she feels people should pay extortionate prices for below-par products purely for the honour of recieving something vaguely connected to herself.

I agree, he always looks like he has a lot of pent up rage.

Anyway I thought the Americans called jam, jelly? Jelly and peanut butter sandwiches and all that grossness. Looks like she was aiming to be British all along. Despite the fact she will never fit in here, because of who she is. Not what she is.

He does have so much pent up anger. Chip on his shoulder, entitled. The worst combination. It shows.

The fact it is the opposite, must come as a bit of a shock.

On the clips I saw of her TV programme, she doesn't say jam, jelly or spread. She refers to them repeatedly as "my preserves." 😆

Quite! Ironically, everyone compares the two simply because of their mixed race heritage, which is racist in itself.
It would be like comparing a local comp school, really rough council estate girl with Catherine, because they are both white. "She's white too, but acts like she's never eaten at a dining table before."

I completely disagree with everything you have said here. There is so much wrong with this statement I wouldn't know where to begin.

Various Xers reporting that H is SAD because of seeing W&G at the football match earlier in the week (I think with a hefty dose of jealousy). He wants to do that with Archie apparently (I particularly liked one comment that A wouldn't enjoy it much because he'd have to sit facing backwards).

Yes it is sad. In a different world it would have been lovely to see Diana's boys taking THEIR boys to sporting events together. But the fact that it's not possible is 100% on HaM, so please stop with the self-indulgent, performative nonsense of utterly failing to acknowledge what you have done.

HaM have painted themselves into a corner so their children cannot do much in the way of normal childhood experiences now.

As far as football games go, the children are pretty much hostage to "privacy" until Meghan decides she wants the big payday of the children's faces being sold to the highest bidder.
