Is Harry silent or silenced?

Good question.

Those eternally flapping gums seem to be as firmly sealed as they are on the Yorks.

I was just chopping carrots when I came upon this thread quite by chance! I had a quick peek of 62 x 1,000 comments and do wonder how some of you have the resolve and stamina!
Good work, gang, kudos, Jeff!

Thanks for the new thread @jeffgoldblum

Hope you don't mind a bit of a derail, as is my style, but it seemed a good time to share some festive cheer.

Emma Thynn is promoting....Jam! Taste of the West prizewinning jam no less.
She makes scones and presents her cream tea on her very pretty china.

She's on a wave as she is also in the new Burberry advert celebrating 170 years which happens to be quite Christmassy and a wonderful antidote to the dreadful John Lewis Christmas advert. Children who hug granny and help with the work setting up for the party. And what a party! Pierce Brosnan. Fiona Shaw, Emma Thynn of course.

That's how you do it!

He's like a nodding dog. I wonder when and if he'll ever get his life back.

Emma Thynn is a good example of what Meghan could have been, with a bit more hard work, application and effort.

Harry ? He's happiest he has ever been apparently

Watched the link for Emma Thynn...she has a genuineness about her that is lacking with Meghan. The clip shows her making scones but I hate that she doesn't remove her jewellery to do this - maybe it's just me but I always remove rings and even bracelets if I'm getting stuck in and kneading dough. She does seem to have the sort of business that Meghan would like to have.

I really hope HAM make education a priority for their kids. They need to look ahead. The Wales kids will be front and centre as children of the King and Queen. Hamlets won't come close. The grifting lifestyle is only for those with tough hides. That's fine for HAM but apparently Archie is "tender ". Grifting won't work for him.

I agree but more and more I have come to realise that, apart from her own character and personality, M’s background and upbringing put her at a real disadvantage. ET is mixed race but she’s well educated and she grew up mixing in those circles.

In which case I dread to think what he’s like when he’s truly miserable…..l

I watched too and had the same thought when she put her hands in the bowl and the bracelets were clinking against the glass!

But it was a lovely little video. I liked how she had flour on her skirt (although I suppose that could have been faked!). And her scones were proper scones and she didn't scrimp on the clotted cream! Or add weird runny honey with pot pourri sprinkles

I saw Emma Thynne in a farm shop close to Longleat, she’s absolutely stunning. She was asking the butcher about the best cuts for something she was cooking.
She’s what classy, countryside gentry looks like.

Meghan must hate Emma because she doesn't fit in with the narrative of Britain being so racist that a woman with black heritage cannot succeed or thrive.

Exactly. A woman who married for love, but took on Longleat. Had racist in laws, but rose above it.
She's helped to make Longleat a successful business and preserved the heritage.
She's also a great cook!
