Who would trust HaM with their reputation by appearing in a doc by them about an ex Royal family member? You know it is going to be an attack on the RF so you would have had to have fallen out with them already.

MyPurpleHeart · 02/11/2026 15:52

I don't know about you but I'm absolutely sick to the back teeth of anything Diana related. They have flogged that (not-going-to-say-it) horse for the last 30 years. Is there even anything interesting to show anymore that hasn't been done over and over and over.

Maybe it’s like a shell company to keep the squad happy? The squaddies latch onto the idea their adored one is a business guru of some sort, and she rewards them with ‘limited edition’ sets of crap. It probably costs her serious money to maintain, as she gives a lot away, but it’s worth it to her to inculcate loyalty and provide what she thinks is good PR. (She’s wrong, because she’s deluded if she thinks the unhinged elements of the sussex squad are a good look in the UK and with the FBI.)

It could also be a good tax write off for HaM in the US. Here a married couple normally files a joint return for their combined income. Any deductions benefit both members of the couple.

You can deduct a business loss from your income when you file your taxes. And frankly, it's pretty easy to fudge figures on self-employment forms for the IRS, although I'd chew glass before I'd lie to the IRS.

In the course of my career (not with the IRS but sort of 'adjacent') during an investigation I once saw what we knew to be a multimillion dollar family business post a loss year after year.

If 'As Ever' minds their entries year to year, HaM could be getting a good reduction in their income taxes.

It will be just HAM and hamlets. Maybe CS?? A lot of word salad and images of hamlets at grave, etc

Markles complaints about PoW are all so teenage valley girl. Holding hands? Sharing lipstick? Are they 12?

She's a grown up. Why did she need to be taken shopping? it's London, not Mogadishu.

Harry must see the news. Do you think in some tiny part of his brain, he has realised what sort of family he married into?

"There are none so blind as those who will not see".

Or to quote the Doobies...

"What a fool believes he sees,
no wiseman has the power to reason away.
What seems to be is always better than nothing"

Also, why do two millionaires need free accommodation from anyone ?? Pay rent somewhere small, low key before you buy ?

I presume it would have been for the photo opportunities? With Catherine seen to be trailing behind her perhaps...

Dragonslayer, meh. Personally I think PH is more like Lord Farquaad

Prince George in Blackadder. But not as likeable.

Poor Meghan, living barefoot in the rags from her suitcase, unable to buy any clothes in London because nobody will show her where the shops are

She has that "rich girl" swishy hair also that only those with money seem to have!

Expensive extensions, underneath, strategically placed with clips.

Hummingbirdz · 02/11/2026 14:58

He was declared bankrupt at one point and used the proceeds of a lottery win to pay for Meghans schooling. He's meant to be pretty hard up now which makes these expensive care facilities and how he pays for them a mystery.

If he’s on US social security / pension or disability then he will qualify for government funding through Medicare/Medicaid.

A bit like in the UK you have to sell all your assets and use that money for care first but once it’s paid for you.

You don’t get much choice in which places you can go though - only some will take you if you don’t have private insurance.

And you get moved around a bit too against your wishes depending on the needs of the facility.

It’s pretty grim.

No not delighted at all- honestly I'm quickly becoming a Republican.

Ex -nurse? Are we funding them now.

That’s nasty.
’We’ don’t ‘fund’ any of them.
The cost of their security-for the King & Queen, The Wales family, and Working
members when they are working is covered by the taxpayer .
And that’s it. That’s ALL the taxpayer pays.
Become a Republican -but don’t spout rubbish.

It's weird, isn't it? I met my niece's boyfriend recently and immediately identified him as a posh boy because of his (gorgeous) floppy hair. My DD reported afterwards that he had been a pupil at the poshest school in our city. My DD went there for sixth form but has escaped the swishy hair syndrome because of five years at a comprehensive.

People with inherited wealth don't like to spend it.

People with inherited wealth don't like to spend it.

The royals in particular are often keen to grab yet more personal wealth, straying into dubious territory to do so eg Andrew and 'Pitch at Palace'.

It's how my mother always identified posh folk.. It's in the hair 😅

Watched Tom Bower on Tom Sykes, I had never heard before that Doria is bisexual, he said Tomas Markle told him he used to have sex with Doria and her then girlfriend, it seems they were living the Hollywood lifestyle of anything goes. Doria was /is a big marijuana user and also hard drugs. He said Tomas Markle had photos of a naked Doria on the walls of their home, photos he had taken.

It seems so sordid and ugly. Meghan must have guessed why her father was making frequent solo trips to SE Asia, you don’t have to be a genius to figure out why he was going there, even if it wasn’t illegal.

Tom Bower does not like Charles at all !

That woke me up properly 🙈😮

I have some relatives who are (unlike me) absolutely minted. Think Chelsea/Ascot/private school/private jet minted.

One thing I have always noticed about these ladies and Princess Catherine is their nails.

They always have natural colours, short, but immaculately polished. These are women in their late 20's/early 30's and they wouldn't be seen dead with a bit of nail art or a french tip.

The super rich don't do gaudy do they

I think H is taking separate PR advice. Not a whisper from him whereby he generally claps back as the dragonslayer

It was notable that the public statement was issued by M rather than HaM. There was no "we" about it, none of the usual references to "my husband". Then, a few days later, an oblique 'sources say' they have both dealt with the weight of this knowledge for years. Broad enough to suggest that H was perhaps not immediately, but eventually, brought into the loop.

I never got the impression Doria and Meg share a loving relationship at all. Doria always struck me as very cold.

I completely agree about her coming across as cold. I was also convinced (and said so two threads ago) that there was way way more to her than met the eye.
