Charles more ill?

King Charles has been quietly cancelling some engagements to pare back his schedule. We know he has cancer, and he is still doing engagements and visits, but far fewer than previously.

At the same time the pr is really pushing William. Appearance on a chat show, BBC news covering his engagements, lots of very positive coverage of him. Far more visible than previously.

Charles is currently on a tour of Commonwealth countries. And looks great.
And has been extremely busy over the last few months (looking at the Royal Family instagram page).

He has cancer and he’s well into his 70’s so it’s unlikely he’ll be on the throne for many more years. He is looking old but pretty active and mobile so let’s hope it’s a while til William takes over

Huh? Where did you get this, he’s currently in the common wealth and is one of the busiest royals, the dudes 70 give him a break,

I'm no fan of Charles but given his age and his illness he's doing a solid number of engagements - all credit to him. His schedule would exhaust me, and I'm younger and healthier!

He looks pretty chipper on the front page of the Mail. And given that he has cancer and might be cutting back engagements to conserve his health, PW doing more makes sense.

This is one of those 'HM is sicker than we 're being told and he's gonna die soon' posts to spread gloom and alarm, isn't it?

I think William has pr people who pop up on MN to take the temperature on various issues. In light of William kicking out some of his tenant farmers he’s probably trying to get some positive press by throwing Charles under the bus.

I am not trying to spread any gloom. I am not a royalist. I have just noticed these two things happening and I know the royal family pr always tell us members are healthy until the day they die. Look at the pr telling us queen Elizabeth was doing well from the photo of her days before she died with obvious signs ivs had been removed from the photo.

True it might just be pr people trying to get positive coverage for William because of the duchy scandal. But it is noticeable how much it has ramped up.

FWIW I think the King looks fit and well - I feel he has a good 5 years in him, he has had a LOT to deal with - and the issues around Andrew, Harry and Meghan - true or false do not help - nor does the MSM alleging all sorts.

Lol trying to make this about harry and Meghan. Same old playbook. And Andrew is never mentioned.

If Charles looks more or less ill it will be due to his medical treatment and cancer progress.

Charles did say his cancer treatment is reducing.

I wish he would knock his two sons' heads together and reconcile them all. That would be a fantastic legacy.

IMV, it doesn't matter what PR job is done on any of them, the fact that they are at loggerheads is so distasteful, it mars all the positive spin.

And I know, I know, there is intransigence on all sides, but it just takes a little give and take to sort it out. But it probably won't happen during KC's lifetime (or ever) sadly.

I am glad only time will tell if what I have noticed is relevant or not.
