I'ts wonderful to see Harry & Meghan happy & smiling & back in the UK supporting their charities.

Regardless whether people agree or disagree with their return, like all families we may not always agree,we may even fall out for long periods of time. The important thing is finding it in our hearts to forgive while leaving bitterness in the past. Above all we must consider the unforgiving legacy we may leave behind & the children who can never be happy & fulfilled being brought up within a fueding family.

No signature was “forged” on the Sandringham summit. That “sign off” story was about something else. Given some of the “reporting” over the last day or so, HaM are asserting that nothing was signed (ie by HMTLQ) and therefore they can do what they want. Lovely way to throw your nan under the bus and disrespect her.

And I don’t think you can really compare the Oprah interview against Spare. Oprah was mostly ALL about Meghan, Harry got wheeled in for a bit part, during which he inadvertently contradicted what Meghan had said earlier (sound familiar anyone 😂). Spare was an embarrassing whingefest of epic proportions, he outed a few people/scenarios which was blooming rich of him considering his stance on media output re his own life.

I’m going to kind of apologise, as I haven’t read the full thread, so I may be doing posters a dismissive disservice later on in the thread. But I just zoned out after the first few pages because, imo, the posts were just weird and nonsensical. A couple of them I kept re-reading, but I just couldn’t grasp what they were saying. Am I going mad? My comprehension skills (I thought) are vaguely ok.

@MeghanAndTheSeals Do they understand that even though HMTLQ has passed, there is an actual monarch still in place?

Tbf I believe it said “Prince Charles and the Princess of Wales”, which at the time of writing was, in fact, Camilla. So it’s open to interpretation and rather naughty because of that

Afaik, Charles was named, and the passage mentioning the PoW also mentioned the king. I don’t think “the king and the PoW” would ever mean Charles and Camilla.

From a quick search (I don’t have the offending Dutch copy)

the Dutch text explicitly stated: "Maar in die privé-brieven werd wel een identiteit onthuld en bevestigd – Charles" (translating to: "But in those private letters an identity was revealed and confirmed – Charles").

A later passage regarding unconscious bias within the family stated that "after it was revealed that the King and Princess of Wales had taken part in such conversations about Archie, Kate has avoided discussing the subject with her sister-in-law".

Apparently there’s another later namecheck too:

You only have to lie to me once and get caught before everything you say is suspect. They both lied in court and got caught. I’m not going to accept any disparaging things they say about others.

Meghan told the court that she and Harry did not cooperate with Omid Scobie on his book. She was reprimanded when it was proven otherwise. This was during the case about the letter she wrote her father.

Harry lied during the ANL case, saying he didn’t know Charlotte Griffiths. That was one of many lies, apparently.

Lying in court is very serious. I'm not sure why they get away with this stuff.

I agree, it shoots their credibility to pieces. If they're prepared to lie in court , they're certainly prepared to lie in books, magazines, on Netflix and in tv interviews.
