I'ts wonderful to see Harry & Meghan happy & smiling & back in the UK supporting their charities.

Regardless whether people agree or disagree with their return, like all families we may not always agree,we may even fall out for long periods of time. The important thing is finding it in our hearts to forgive while leaving bitterness in the past. Above all we must consider the unforgiving legacy we may leave behind & the children who can never be happy & fulfilled being brought up within a fueding family.

Ah it was leaked…?

black people also want to know about the potential colour of hair and skin, Chris Rock does a fabulous skit about it …but given it’s them two i doubt it was innocent - if it ever happened

I always thought it was Catherine and Camilla

oh dear - never forget Camilla’s gollywog keyrings

just looked it up on bbc - says it was Charles and Catherine

Regarding the 'racism' of wondering about skin colour of a child of mixed race, I had friends of mixed race who ran a sweepstake on skin colour using a Dulux paint chart as the options, no-one called them 'racist', just good fun. Surely when a baby is due then family characteristics are discussed, was red hair mentioned, taxi-door ears from grandfather, eye colour, being think? Can they be accused of 'gingerism' if hair colour was discussed?

Yes, it’s interesting that they picked on Charles and Catherine, not Andrew or the DoE or Princess Michael, isn’t it. I don’t think people believed it of those two. And the claim that Archie wasn’t a prince and therefore couldn’t have security also undermined the whole story, as it was an outright lie.

Harry of course has his own long history of racism - do you truly believe it was the RF’s fault that Harry, a man in his 20s, used racist language? Using your own argument that Philip’s racism shouldn’t be excused because your dad wasn’t racist, surely Harry’s casual and overt racism shouldn’t be excused either, because of all the people of his age and class who are not racist, not least his brother and cousins?

In any case, it didn’t stop with the comments about his army colleagues - “don’t worry, she’s not black or anything”, his defence of Lady Hussey when she was forced to resign and the repulsive stuff about how wonderful that his genes beat Meghan’s, it all points in one direction.

TLDR: there’s no evidence that Charles or Catherine are racist, unlike Harry himself, Andrew, Philip and Princess Michael, never mentioned, and Lady Hussey, excused.

I find the way they talk about the children looking all Spencer and not like Meghan's sides quite disturbing. They both do it. I wouldn't be surprised if they used "designer baby" genetic selection process at US IVF clinics. I think they felt that the children looking more like Doria would harm their 'royal kids' brand.

This.

Ever the whinger H seems completely unaware of anything he has done to contribute to the fall out.

@Fairweathersorties9

Meghan and Harry have proven they will say whatever they like when it suits them even in a court of law.

Therefore all of the examples you can collect of other people using racist terms or wearing jewelry is not going to convince thinking people to believe their Oprah “revelations”.

Even then they openly lied, saying Archie would not be made a prince because of his skin color and so that he would not be granted security.

“Ordinary people” are not stupid and can see the attempts at manipulation.

Not quite accurate.

I think it’s important to remember that MM won all three of her major court cases, and a judge did not formally accuse her of perjury or lying. Instead, she wrote and apologised to the court for misleading them, which is slightly different, and the judge accepted her position that she had “no intention to mislead”.

The issue arose through evidence submitted by her former aide, Jason Knauf, who now works for William on Earthshott, who has been honoured with an award from the RF, and who popped up in Australia to give a highly unusual interview, for a Royal staffer, just before MM was preparing to launch her Netflix series and product brand. None of it proven.

The Mail on Sunday Privacy & Copyright Case (UK, 2021):
MM won summary judgment against Associated Newspapers after they published extracts of a private letter to her father. The Court of Appeal dismissed the publisher's appeal, securing damages and public apologies.

Defamation Case by Samantha Markle (US, 2024):
A U.S. federal judge dismissed the defamation lawsuit brought by her half-sister, Samantha Markle, ruling that Meghan's statements were non-defamatory or protected opinions.

Charity Commission Review / Republic Apology (UK, 2021):
After anti-monarchy group Republic accused the Sussexes' former foundation (Sussex Royal) of financial mismanagement, the Charity Commission cleared them of wrongdoing, and Republic issued a public apology.

Regardless of the outcome and the pretty language used to justify it, they both were caught lying.

They were also caught lying when Charlotte Griffiths exposed their WhatsApp group and that they were the source of the leaked lunch meeting, which they tried to pin on BP staff.

TheOvertGardener · 22/10/2026 13:04

After my post above I feel I may as well say “Bye and have a lovely day until we meet again.”

No one defending Harry or Meghan has ever replied to comments about Charlotte Griffiths’ expose. Maybe this time?

@LookOutLookOutTomCruiseIsAbout - they would never criticise Andrew, or Sarah Ferguson.

I think Harry doesn’t criticise Andrew because he is friends with Eugenie. It doesn’t mean he approves of AMW so it’s wrong to imply that. Eugenie herself has apparently distanced herself from her father so most friends or extended family would know not to comment publicly on such a complex relationship.

MissFenellaPrism · 22/10/2026 13:05

Oh Meghan wrote to the court and apologised for "misleading" them. That's ok.
Imagine misleading a court process.

Harry and Meghan are long time friends of the Yorks, the whole family. I don't know why people thought Harry would be critical of AMW or even SF. He'd slate Catherine for not sharing lip gloss though.
Strange standards.

You haven’t read my post properly. If she had been found to have mislead the court then the judge would have officially pronounced on that and charged her and the judge did neither.

She said she didn’t collaborate. She did collaborate. She then lied. Call it what you like.

If you did something then claimed not to do it, that’s a lie. We learn this around age 2.

According to Lownie, both William and Harry had a “problematic” relationship with AMW before his so called banishment and Lownie kept the incident about H punching A in the face in the paperback of Entitled, despite H’s denials. So it’s innacurate to say that H&M are friends with the entire York family but I think H is close to Eugenie, hence their property in Portugal.

The case wasn’t about that. Why would the judge rule on it?

His reaction was a bit of noblesse oblige, too.

Surprised he didn’t put that bit about punching Andrew in the face in Spare. Quite a counter point to the dog bowl and necklace accusations.

Indeed. However, Harry obviously doesn't want to damage that long term friendship with the York family. Any of them.
