Concerns about William and Catherine's friendship with Tom Cruise

Palace are reported to be concerned about Catherine and Williams growing friendship with tom cruise. They are concerned about them being recruited into Scientology.

Now I hope, that there is no realistic chance that they could be recruited into Scientology. But even having a future king and queen who are sympathetic to scientologists could help this cult. I do believe that Tom Cruise is becoming very friendly to Catherine and William to benefit Scientology in whatever way he can.

And how does the media magically know that there are any concerns. I highly doubt a royal spokesperson would tell the media that William and Kate are being targeted by TC into a cult religion.

It was on the internet! It must be true!

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 05/10/2026 08:45

Perfectly plausible that the man whose Christian faith is important to him and who swore an oath to protect the CoE at his coronation would be a Moslem. That's enough evidence for OP.

Just to add to this, when Palace courtiers do decide to talk, they go to their existing contacts at British newspapers like Valentine Low etc. They don't bypass them in favour of talking to "thenews.com" Confused

If Catherine is made a saint, can she part the Atlantic Ocean or do other useful miracles?

She could do a national tour of all the food banks and end food poverty in a loaves and fishes way. Tom could travel with her and gain new recruits.

I did find the thread quite funny in places but remember this isn’t a reflection of the real world in any shape or form so don’t take it to heart.

Yes because Pakistani newspapers are THE respected source for world news.

And writers of HAM fan fiction have a special in with the palace, so they’d absolutely hear about this first.

TheOvertGardener · 05/10/2026 11:49

Anyone know where I can find a paper copy of The News Dot Com PK?

Freakingfurious11 · 05/10/2026 18:09

I’m more concerned at King Charles and his friendships, especially with the WEF

2026, worlds falling to pieces and you’re writing this nonsense 🤦‍♀️

LHP118 · 05/10/2026 18:12

All well and good. I would hope and expect William and Catherine are aware and don't need to be told; they're both intelligent, smart and wise.

Islandgirl68 · 05/10/2026 18:14

What a load of nonsense. Some papers talk a load of rubbish. Don't think they are that gullable.

YourCraftyShaker · 05/10/2026 18:14

Its a child trafficking cult. They shouldnt be associating with him.

mateysmum · 05/10/2026 18:22

There are so many completely bonkers threads and theories around on social media about the King/William/Catherine. Most have no evidence and most are generated by H&M superfans. They say things like 'Charles is a Muslim', Charles is pathetic for not telling the government to do XYZ, William and Catherine hate each other and are madly jealous of loved up H&M. Most insane of all people saying Charles should abdicate and Harry should be king. The Americans are particularly unhinged and demonstrate daily that they have zero understanding of how the British constitutional monarchy operates.
The OP's suggestion is on these lines. No evidence, no basis in reality. I'm Methodist, but I have friends who are Catholic, Hindu and Muslim. Doesn't mean I'm going to take up any of those creeds.

Okay so you all ignore the growing friendship with tom cruise who we know William be developing the friendship on behalf of Scientology.

Very naive.

Edited

Sorry, trying not to laugh at you referring to everyone else as very naive 😂

This thread is ridiculous, although very amusing. Tom Cruise is effusive about everybody. He was on Graham Norton at the time of his film premiere and he complimented Graham’s suit, was enthusiastic about all the other guests and their abilities and was just gushing and positive. That is the way he is. Whether he is sincere or not, who knows? But his compliments are not confined to the Waleses. It is well known that he is a Scientologist, so it’s not like it’s going to be a case of him stealthily trying to recruit people. I’m pretty sure that the Waleses are immune to that sort of thing anyway. They must meet all sorts of fanatical people, but that doesn’t mean they are going to follow every cult and belief they come across. They must have plenty of pinches of salt with which to take what they hear.
it’s amusing how posters on here seem to have a few reasonable arguments and then totally blow it on a stupid thread premise 😆

@mateysmum classic deflection. Quote actual conspiracy theories to rubbish media articles about something that is clearly possible

Link or it didn't happen. And none of this 'google it for yourself' business. You claim it, you prove it.

I'd say I can't believe the gullibility of people who fall for this clickbait shite, but unfortunately I can.

No it's not. Your idea is just as implausible as many others.

TheOvertGardener · 05/10/2026 19:22

Clearly possible.

I could write an article about Tom Cruise's friendship with my Auntie Peggy. Doesn't make it true.
Please stop believing all you read on the internet 🙏🏼

You have to reluctantly admire the obtuseness of maintaining one's stance that a manufactured story by an outlet no-one's ever heard of is 100% likely when gawd knows how many people are telling you over 29 pages it's a load of cobblers and you're making a tit of yourself.
That's even before we examine the dubious logic of 'Tom Cruise is friends with W&C and it must be true because there aren't any articles about his friendships with other people, only them.'

Yes. It's quite something.
There's the bizarre twist of being accused of thinking Kate is "a saint" when no-one has said any such thing.

Constantrunner · 05/10/2026 19:37

Do you write for various publications then?

Ironically, I think that was meant to demonstrate our gullibility and credulousness.

I've had a look at that site. It seems to be the equivalent of MSN, and about as reliable.
